My name is Emma Inglefield. I have two lovely daughters, Daisy born 2002 & Isabelle born 2007. My first was a hospital birth and my second was born at home. Both were positive experiences. I loved being pregnant and I love being a mother. I have experience of both breast and bottle feeding.
I first encountered a Doula during a 'homebirth' meeting with my second pregnancy. While she was explaining to us what her role was I knew it was something I wanted to do. To be able to offer my support and knowledge to others, helping to make their experience a positive, memorable one that they will cherish forever is my passion. I look forward to spending this magical time with families and be part of their own little 'miracle'.
I offer my practical and emotional support. I believe every woman has the right to know her birth rights.
I trained with 'nurturing birth' in 2008 and I am also a member of Doula UK and I am a ' recognised Birth Doula ' after going through their training process. I am fully insured and have an up-to-date police check. I can provide references on request.
I have had experience with natural, active, hypnobirthing, home birth, hospital birth, water birth, c-section, VBAC and twin birth. I also have helped support new families in their early weeks, including children who have had operations and needed extra care with feeding tubes, medicines etc.
